Source of Funding The Keller Foundation is funded primarily through the contributions of Paragon Die & Engineering Company. Fred Keller established early on that Paragon Die would contribute 10% of its profits to the Keller Foundation. This generosity has provided an endowment from which to give. A portion of the principal is donated each year to the various organizations at the discretion of the trustees. Guidelines for Giving The Keller Foundation is on a July 1st to June 30th giving cycle. In most cases requests will be reviewed during the month of June at the annual meeting of the trustees. Other requests needing special consideration will be reviewed on a periodic basis throughout the year. Those wishing to solicit funds may do so by contacting the foundation via mail or e-mail. If the foundation requires additional information in which to make a decision you will be directed to submit the grant application form (a copy of which can be found on this website). While all requests will be considered, our focus is in primarily helping organizations within our community of greater Grand Rapids. The foundation does not require nor does it encourage personal interviews with the trustees for the purpose of giving.
